Job Description

A Salinas based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide compassionate patient care in a primary care setting. An ideal candidate is motivated, collaborative, and works well in an interdisciplinary team. This clinic is a fast-paced environment and providers are responsible for medical services for peds.

Required Qualifications

  • CA medical license as an NP
  • CA DEA certificate before start date
  • Current NP or PA board certification
  • CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages under the supervision of a physician
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
  • Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
  • Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
