POSITION SUMMARY
The position requires an individual who wants to work in a small company atmosphere. Handling the following but not limited to:
PRIMARY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
All full charge bookkeeping functions.
Clerical responsibilities.
Excel spreadsheets and reports.
Handling bank, lenders and contractors.
Day to day operational responsibilities
Billing and collection
Accounts payable and disbursement such as preparation of checks, wires and ACH.
Bank, and credit card reconciliations, and account reconciliations
Fixed asset and related depreciation
Sales and Use Tax implementation
Intercompany reconciliation
Prepare payroll with payroll and tax reconciliation
Full closing of financial statements
Prepare correspondences as needed
Payroll
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATIONAL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
A degree in accounting or significant experience in the duties and responsibilities as described above is required
Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness
Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
Must be highly skilled in use of computer spreadsheets, word processors, and computer applications
Must have very good business writing and communication skills
Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressures
A minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting with the same company is required
