email removed rimary Purpose:
Responsible for suggesting and maintaining packaging inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of packaging materials while minimizing space requirements to meet sales objectives.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service and business management to achieve these objectives.
Essential Job Functions:
(Include the following and other duties may be assigned as needed) 1 Use Excel model to manage assigned packaging commodity levels valued at over 10 million dollars.
While using Excel this position is responsible for the following:
Verify physical inventory accuracy Verify prior weeks receipts Determine quantities to release Determine arrival dates Place releases with vendors Work within inventory space limitations Review weekly shrink and communicate any excess waste Maintain minimal inventory while ensuring availabilityThis is a critical process and component of the Packaging Demand Planner which will severely and negatively impact the company if not managed properly.
Negative consequences can cause customer shortages, cuts, plant scheduling conflicts and inefficiencies.
2 Order packaging materials with contracted suppliers.
Create purchase orders which authorize printing and production of assigned packaging materials Maintain agreed inventory levels at suppliers Manage order quantities to maximize lowest cost possible Ensure vendor inventory is released within the agreed warehousing period Communicate vendor performance to Purchasing Manager 3.
Review vendor weekly inventory reports for:
Order completion Past due orders Over and under runs Immediately communicate any possible stock out situations 4.
Recognize and adjust inventory levels to assure proper inventory is available 5.
Work closely with Demand Planner to communicate:
Packaging shortages Timing issues Suggest forecasting adjustments Question volumes 5.
Create weekly release schedule for the Receiving Dept.

Create monthly usage and shrink reports Meet accounting dead lines Meet with Packaging Machine Operators and Technicians to review packaging shrink with reduction being the primary goal Non-Essential Job Functions:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Critical thinking Sense of urgency Strong analytical ability Strong written and oral communication skills Extreme accuracy Detail oriented Knowledge of turn rates and FIFO Able to raise and effectively deal with issues at all levels of management.
Able to work in a fast paced and high pressure work environment.
Qualification Standards:
1.
Education:
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Purchasing or related field, or two years related college course work and three (3) years related work experience.
2.
Experience:
Related work experience consists of work experience in a purchasing office or working as a purchasing agent buyer or inventory coordinator interacting with vendors.
3.
Preferences:
Directly related experience in the produce industry and supply chain certification preferred.
4.
Advanced to Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
