Dental Lab Technician
Job Responsibilities/Duties :
Able to perform a variety of removable prosthetic laboratory duties and work hand-in-hand with the doctors to produce high quality dental prosthetics Pouring of impressions, making bite registrations, and prepare try-ins Fabricates custom trays, base plates, and bite rims; final waxing Processes doctor requests to create dentures, stay plates, relines and repairs Able to construct models of patients mouths Work with materials such as waxes, plastics, plasters and stone Makes and repairs dental appliances Able to identify different color tones Meet quality standards regarding various dental prosthetics to established safety and health protocols Ability to coordinate production schedule of dental prosthetics and meet deadlines in a timely manner Maintain order and cleanliness of lab and other related duties as assigned Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
High school diploma, GED or equivalent 1 year experience in dental prosthetics is required Attention to detail Manual dexterity and skill Ability to work independently and efficiently Familiarity with dental lab equipment, materials and instruments.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
