Job Description:
Headquartered in Salinas, California, Classic Salads, LLC, is a processor and shipper of Spring Mix, Spinach and other assorted salad greens. Our Sales office is located in Watsonville, California and our growing areas in the Salinas, Central and Imperial Valleys of California and the Yuma, Arizona area. Classic Salads and its parent company Classic Farms have over 30 years in the industry and have grown our market share substantially over time.
We are currently seeking a Director of Sales in Salinas, CA.

Responsibilities:
Senior manager in charge of all sales activities and sales personnel.
Coordinate sales operations with all other departments of the company.
Establish and monitor performance goals for sales department.
Coordinate with marketing and trade shows.
Secure new business by acquiring new customers and sales opportunities.
Analyze accounts relating to volume, pricing, adjustments, and payment terms.
Coordinate and maintain Customer and Broker contract sales.
Coordinate with Credit/Collection Manager and Quality Assurance Manager on Customer adjustments and Trade A/R.
Monitor market place for new product opportunities.
Work with Marketing and Senior management on marketing strategies.
Requirement:
Minimum of 5 years experience in sales a management capacity preferably in the produce industry.
Must have a good understanding of produce distribution channels.
Knowledge of inventory systems for perishable products.
Possesses strong motivational, innovative and interpersonal skills.
Possess leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower employees to achieve objectives with a team approach.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health insurance, disability insurance, 401K, Section 125 (Cafeteria plan), and performance bonuses.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
